radiation — the Moon has no atmosphere to protect against solar storms and cosmic radiation;

extreme temperatures — from -170°C to +120°C;

cargo delivery — each ton costs millions of dollars;

technical risks — system failure, lack of oxygen, equipment overheating.

But that is precisely why a base on the Moon is not just a scientific curiosity, but a necessary step on the way to the stars.
